Brainstorm for using Blogs, Wikis and Websites in my classes-
Right now I am thinking about using my Website to post resources, background information and links for my students to guide them in the course. I can also use it to provide to my students' parents as a resource for keeping up with news, syllabi, assignments and what we are doing in the class. We can post photos of class activities on the web so that parents of students living away from home (boarding students) can be in better touch with what their children are doing. Students can also send the links to their friends. I am also thinking of having the students create webpages that will serve as an online journal and album for recording their experiences in the class which I will structure as a virtual residency learning experience, and the website can be about their 'year in Madrid'. On their webpages they can link to blogs that they have created in order to complete short writing assignments. What a great way to save paper.

Of course, the outside community! I had not considered anybody but the students while brainstorming on how to use technology and now feel foolish. I could see the students taking great pride in creating their own site after a trip, project or presentation. Nice brainstorming.
